WORD OF ADVICE GET RID OF HISPANIC WAITRESS.

If you're looking for great atmosphere, you'll probably get it more from the people than from the wooden paneling that is on all of the walls. Some of the signs are Charming. There is clear evidence of community involvement. It is plainly a staple for many of the locals, especially on the weekends.

In a couple of visits, I've only had breakfast. I have enjoyed both. They have included their biscuits and gravy, which are quite generous, and their French toast. I couldn't resist ordering their home fries, either. They're really what come across as just fried potatoes, rather than the standard cubes and polyhedral cuts that you get in homefries. Regardless, they're pretty good and you might come across a pub chip or two in them.

True family-style restaurant where even the casual one- time diner is usually treated like family -- if they do not have an "attitude" when they first walk in the door -- great breakfasts, especially the sausage gravy over home-made biscuit, and hamburgers like the fast-food chains only dream they could serve. Oldest family owned restaurant in LaBelle.

A genuinely old-school "greasy spoon" that is difficult to compare to any major chain besides Waffle House, The Big V makes up for in flavor and service what it may lack in frippery.

This place has been here for decades and is one of the most popular breakfast stops for locals. The place could use some updating to make the appearance more welcoming and modern.

Hispanic Waitress cant get orders right, over charges you, agrues with customers but the heavyset lady at the counter made it right and was so polite and respectful.

Look for traditional American comfort food here. You'll get sensible servings for a reasonable price, mostly. However, that's a matter of opinion. if it's a little expensive, they haven't gotten too carried away.

good food.. great svc alittle pricey buts it's a small town w/little competition.. bldg needs renovate/remodel

If you are in town for breakfast or lunch, you might be able to do better, but you probably won't be disappointed with your visit.
